All About Me Theme

 I don't know about you but I love teaching my students using themes! You can cover so many core subjects by using themes. My goal this year is to help teachers start connecting the core subjects together to help their students to learn and most importantly have fun! 
    You may be asking yourself, does this work???? The answer is YES. My co-worker and I created and utilized this same format while teaching summer school (ESY) during distance learning via video conferences. Students were engaged and we were having fun while learning. 
    So, to start the school year, I have created the first theme for the beginning of the school year. ​

I had so much fun creating this product. I know that distance learning requires a lot front load work that takes a lot of time. As you are preparing for school, there is so much that needs to be done behind the scenes to have a successful lesson and most people don't understand that. I am here to help you and save you that time. 
    The theme unit that I created is through a Google Slides Presentation that is interactive and digital. The most exciting part is that you can use this not only through distance learning but when you come back to brick and mortar as well. I basically put it all together for you. You won't have to do anything else but teach! However, if you purchase this product, and there anything you wish to change, no worries it is completely editable! 
Here is what you can expect throughout the units (somethings may vary per unit):

• Library: This digital library contains multiple videos of book read alouds based on the Unit Topic. Every video has been converted into Safe You Tube videos to ensure that it is ready to utilize with your students without worrying about any crazy ads or random sidebar weird video playlist suggestions!
• Learning Videos: These videos will help you teach the unit topic to your students. 
• Movement: We all need brain breaks with movements. I incorporated videos that would cover your topic while making your students move their bodies and get their blood flowing!
• Boom Learning: If you are a Boom Learning fan, I have included hyperlinks to play FREE Boom Cards related to the topic. 
• Online Games: Have fun and play online games with your students that cover your theme topic.
• Songs: I have learned from my years of teaching that songs will help students remember academic concepts and aid understanding. Plus who doesn't like music?!?!?!
