This year it was Hollywood Theme.... :)
Remember, you must label each center.

Morning Work
I started with trapezoid tables, then I changed it to desk...
since I had 7 students... I couldn't take having a different desk at the end... A little OCD... :)

Student Schedules
Most of my students needs visuals... big visuals. I had one student had words, a small pictures to assist with transitions. I use color construction paper to back the visual, saves it and provides a color background. Each student is assigned to color.

At the bottom, you see each student had a box with their name color coded. This made fixing the schedule easier at the end of the day. Otherwise, if you have a big box you have to sort.
The bottom rows, are additional bathroom, and break visual... these seem to get lost the most.

One student had a clip board checklist schedule.

Short and Sweet... minimal words. There are posted in big throughout the class
and mini versions in each center.. they are velcroed in case they need to be given to a student.

Each box has visuals of the order students must complete task. The book holders are from IKEA.
They will then put the visuals when they are finished in the bins velcroed to the table.

Each student has a finished tray to put their work.
This helps the teacher/assistants know with work belongs to who.
Sometimes students will forget to write their names, or their work is not legible to identify.

Break Area
I closed it completely, this gave students an understanding they
could not go in without permission or get out to wonder.
